VIRTUAL TRAINING. REAL CONNECTIONS.
The Midwest Damage Prevention Training Conference (MWDPTC) is typically held in idyllic French Lick, Indiana over multiple days, where attendees attend education sessions, visit exhibitors, network with peers and more. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year Indiana 811 and Kentucky 811 provided members with an educational experience despite being unable to meet at an in-person conference.
The 2020 Virtual Midwest Damage Prevention Training Conference, presented by Indiana 811 and Kentucky 811, brought together nearly 500 damage prevention professionals to discuss the latest trends, laws and best practices in the industry. This free virtual conference, held on November 5, 2020, fostered education and communication among damage prevention stakeholders to ensure our industry continues in the right direction even during these difficult times.

Although this year’s virtual conference did not have exhibitor or sponsorship opportunities, Indiana 811 and Kentucky 811 are grateful to past exhibitors and sponsors who have made our work over the years possible. We would like to recognize these organizations for their consistent support and dedication to the safe digging message. We would also like to extend a special thank you to the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission for making the 2020 conference possible.
